june 2008
we spent all of june in amarillo to help take care of grandma, and kim finally got to enjoy all of amarillo. katalia made it to route 66 and cadillac ranch, and she saw her first rainbow and taxidermy bear.

may 2008
we didn't spend any weekends in arizona this month. we went to houston for todd's graduation and had some good fam time. we had mother's day in new york, where we saw jeeves get married in a very tall building with nothing under it. and then we went to amarillo to see grandma and all her flowers. katalia went bonkers over all the flowers, and it looks like she may be a future florist.

april 2008
we don't really remember this month. katalia started playing her feet like a little monkey, and she became quite wiley and giggly, especially after she discovered her reflection in her swing.

march 2008
we saw some old friends in minnesota after paul's birthday. katalia started really enjoying bath time. and then the toys started rolling in. katalia got her favorite foam blocks plus an octopus name oprah, who speaks spanish and french! que bueno/tres bien!

february 2008
katalia met a lot of folk this month. no time for stranger danger. inbetween lounging in her bumbo chair, she became a serious milk chugger. on the travel front, she discovered the frozen tundra called minnesota.

january 2008
what's new? katalia just keeps growing and making progressively fuller diapers. still waiting for a blow-out though. she is a superstar baby who can already bear her own weight and hold up her head for a few seconds. we swear she is not using steroids. we think she may be saying 'hi' but she probably just has gas.
